We had a traditional family Hanukkah party this year, complete with latkes, sufganiyot, dreidel games, Hanukkah gelt, and the kindling of the Hanukkah lights.
Generally, the youngest member of the family lights the candles. This year, we did it twice so both boys would get a turn. Their cousin, Ashley, is helping...
Here is Victor, first spinning the dreidel, then rejoicing over his loot of M&Ms.
And Kedrick, with a cheekful of M&Ms, clearly enjoys eating the M&Ms more than playing the game.
Staying true to her "Jewish Grandmother" nature, Gramma filled the table with a buffet of Hanukkah desserts.
And here is a rare picture of my brother Aaron and his two girls, Ashley and Meghan. Meghan was the flower girl in our wedding. She must have been barely five then. She'll be 17 in a couple of weeks. Crazy how quickly they grow up!
