A Bible Story of Sorts

Kedrick: "Mom! Mom!"

Mom: "Yes, Kedrick?"

Kedrick: "I was a pirate!"

Mom: "You were? What happened?"

Kedrick: "I was on a pirate ship, then I jumped in the water, then a whale swallowed me and it spit me out on land."

Mom: "Really? Like Jonah?"

Kedrick: "Yeah."

Mom: "Were you running from God?"

Kedrick: "No, I was running from Jesse (our dog). Jesse was a bad guy. Then I told my people."

Mom: "What did you tell your people?"

Kedrick: "To be nice."

Mom: "Oh. And to obey God?"

Kedrick: "Sure."
